Tideswell to Millers Dale Circular

A lovely 8 mile walk from Tideswell to Millers Dale along the Monsal Trail. This walk takes in some wonderful views and history as well as a nature reserve where we spotted a water vole and some dippers. Even if you don’t do the full 8 miles Millers Dale is definitely worth a visit especially with children.

Castleton, Mam Tor, Losehill Pike Circular

A gorgeous 6.5 mile high level walk from Castleton taking in Mam Tor, Hollins Cross, Back Tor and Losehill Pike along one ridgeline. We were fortunate enough to get some good weather for this and enjoyed some lovely views as far as Bamford Edge in the east. The path along the ridge is very and even in bad weather would be fairly easy to navigate but make sure you take a map and compass just in case.
